University Elections 2025

From June 28 to July 5, there are university elections at TU Darmstadt. These are the best way (apart from student council work) to influence central decisions at the university. In addition to the University Assembly (UV) and the Student Parliament, the Faculty Council (FBR) and the Student Council (FSR) are also up for election. We would like to explain the latter in more detail here. In this context, the candidates on the respective election lists introduce themselves. Voter turnout for the FSR was 15.9% in the last election, so your vote counts a lot.

General

Voting takes place online via this portal. You can find detailed information on the website of the electoral office. There you will also find information on past elections (or elections other than the university elections). You will also find the provisional and approved electoral lists of all departments and university groups. The results are also published there. If you don't know exactly what the individual committees do or who is currently on them, it's best to take a look at this overview. The AStA also offers its own page, where the university parties introduce themselves.

Faculty Council

The Faculty Council makes central decisions at the faculty. These include, for example, the revision of degree programs, the establishment of appointment committees and the election of deans. It consists of professors, academic staff, administrative and technical staff and students. Students are represented with three seats. The candidates for the FBR are listed as follows:

  • Jan Rüßing

    Jan Rüßing

Hey, I've been a bachelor's student since 2021. When I came to university back then, everything was still online because of Covid and the chance of getting to know people was practically zero. To finally meet some people, I joined the student council in 2022. Since then, I've taken on a lot of different tasks, such as committee work, leading Ophasen, etc. I have also been a member of the FSR since last winter semester. I would be happy to continue representing the interests of us students.

  • Jonas Bingel

    Jonas Bingel

Compared to the others, I am a relatively new active member of D120. I am running for the FBR because I would like to actively contribute to improving the study situation in a dialog and solution-oriented manner. For me, this includes both professional and social aspects. I have a great professional interest in computer science and teaching.

  • Josias Wick

    Josias Wick

Gude, I've been active in the student council for almost 3 years now - most recently with an increased focus on improving study conditions. That's why I'm on the teaching and study committee and the QSL commission. I'm also organizing the upcoming Ophase to ensure that first-year students have a successful start to their studies.

  • Tristan Schulz

    Tristan Schulz

Hello, it's me again, the person from the glass box! You probably know me from the tea/coffee and the grief boxes that hang in our Piloty. I'm always happy to stand up for the interests of the students! More coffee/tea more good!

  • Dini Völkl

    "Dini" von Willich (Völkl)

    Hey,
I've been studying at our university for a while now and am about to start my last two semesters. It is very important to me to further improve the course for all students. As one of the few in the Master of Education program, I often bring a helpful and fresh perspective to the committees I am active in. I would like to continue to represent your interests and shape your studies at our university together with you.

  • Philipp Macher

    Philipp Macher

I've been active here since 2021 and have been on the FBR for several terms. I also organize events and am a member of the promotion committee. Everyone here has the same concern: We want to put the perspective of us students in the foreground.

  • Jonathan Schild

    Jonathan "Nath" Schild

Hi, I'm Jonathan, probably better known to some as Nath. I've been active in the student council for a few years now; both in the organization of Ophases and Ofahrt, as well as in committees at the department. My goal is to create the framework conditions for your successful studies at the department together with all the other active members of the student council.

Student Council

The student council at the Department of Computer Science consists of 9 members. They are officially the direct representatives and contact persons for the student body. In general, most events (such as the introductory week or the summer party) are organized by the "wider circle" of the student council.

There is a ✨special✨ twist to this edition: there are two lists, which we present below:

This list has not yet submitted a description.

  • Lea Pellikan

    Lea Pellikan

Hi, I'm Lea and I've been involved in the active student council for computer science (D120) for several years now. I was already in the FSR and am currently part of the lending team and the event organization. It is particularly important to me that the student council remains active and that the interests of the students are the focus - that's what I'm committed to!

  • Claudius Seibt

    Claudius Seibt

Hi, I'm Claudi, I'm only in my second semester of my Bachelor's degree, but I'm very active in the student council. I do the room bookings and help organize the summer party.

  • Jim Dooley

    Jim Dooley

    Hey,
I am now in my fourth semester at the TU and have been active in the student council for some time through the Ofahrt and the Ophasen. I'm always happy to see new faces :)

  • Tristan Schulz

  • Sebastian Spranger

    Sebastian Spranger

Hi, I've been a member of the student council for a while now and am helping to organize the next OPhase, for example. Above all, it's important to me that we can continue to organize cool events for the students.

  • Philipp Macher

    Philipp Macher

I've been active since 2021 and currently mainly organize events such as the summer party, St. Nicholas party and the GnoM game night. By the time the election is over, I'll definitely have finished my thesis.

  • Jonathan Schild

    Jonathan "Nath" Schild

Hi, I'm Jonathan, probably better known to some as Nath. I've been active in the student council for a few years now; both in the organization of Ophases and Otrips, as well as in committees at the department. • Carolin Röll

    Carolin Röll

Hi, I'm Carolin and I've been a member of the student council for 2 years. I like to help organize events, e.g. I organize the Gnom and was at the last Ofahrt Helpdesk.

  • Hannah Knodel

    Hannah Knodel

This candidate has not yet submitted a description.

We are the people you can observe in this terrarium in the LZI (“Please don't feed!”). You may also know us from the tea trolley where you can get free tea and coffee in the LZI, the new website and, more recently, social media or the feedback boxes in the LZI and Athene. We want to bring more organization back into the current processes so that you can stay informed if you have any complaints about exams. A student council that you can turn to and doesn't just exist for the sake of it is important to us.

  • Jonathan Müller

    Jonathan Müller

Hi, I'm Jonathan, I've been studying computer science here at the TU for 3.5 years and have been active in the student council and university politics (HoPo) for almost as long. What currently bothers me the most is the lack of transparency and the two-tier system of the HoPo. I want to change that. I want to show what the FS does (and what it doesn't do) and make your voice visible. An open ear alone is simply not enough. If you would like to meet me in person, please drop by the LZI at the "Glaskasten" :D

  • Magnus Haas

    Magnus Haas

Hi! You can see my previous work (together with Tristan) on this website, the more recent social media posts and in committees. You can also always find me in the Glaskasten and on the Geekhub (as Georg), although I'm a little less active there at the moment due to my thesis. At the moment, the student council is a bit too unorganized and not focused enough on the direct representation of student interests, which I would like to work on. And maybe something can be done about the late publication of MoSeS or VC grades ^^

But I also like to support the student council.

  • Pia Grimmer

    Pia Grimmer

Hello There, my name is Pia, my friends call me Juna.
For me it is important to find the best possible ways and implement the result.
It is also important to me that we as students and our concerns are taken seriously. Because not everyone has the time for this alongside their studies and other worries in life, I would be happy to represent you and be one of the student voices.
