Timetable of the Orientation Week (Ophase)

So you know what to expect in the Ophase and when you should definitely be present, here is the schedule for our orientation week.

The ophase in the summer semester 2021 will take place from 6-4 until 7-4-2020.

In the summer semester 2021, there will only be an ophase for Master students!

 

Bachelor Students

In the summer semester 2021, there will only be an ophase for Master students!

The ophase for Bachelor students in the winter semester 2020 will take place in the last week of October, most probably Wednesday, October 28 to Friday, October 30. The essential contents will be discussed in the mornings and noon, the optional contents (Getting to know each other, New in Darmstadt, Information topics, Games & Fun) will be in the afternoons.

The ophase for Bachelor students is in German, so all information is available in German here!

Master Students

The ophase for Master students in the summer semester 2021 will take place from Tuesday, April 6 to Wednesday, April 7. The essential topics will be discussed in the mornings, the optional topics (Getting to know each other, New in Darmstadt, General IT-Stuff, Games & Fun) will be presented in the afternoons.

Further Study Programs

In the summer semester 2021, there will only be an ophase for Master students!

We do not explicitly organize any ophase beyond the ones for B.Sc. Informatik and M.Sc. Informatik and the special masters (Autonomous Systems, Distributed Software Systems, Internet and Web-based Systems, IT Security, Visual Computing). Students of other study programs concerning the FB 20 are free to participate in the programs described above according to their own preferences.

In addition, there usually is a workshop for B.Ed., Joint BA, and LaG students with computer science components, which took place last Ophase on Thursday, 29.10.2020 between 2 and 3 pm, organized in a cooperation between the student council and the student advisory service. Further information is available on the German page, as the workshop usually will be in German!
