University-Wide Administrative Bodies

There is also the possibility of university-wide participation. However, there mostly is a "Professorial Majority" here, meaning that by § 37 Framework Act for Higher Education (HRG) university instructors must have half of the votes in administrative bodies dealing with matters of teaching and even the majority in administrative bodies dealing with matters of research or the calling of professors.

Nevertheless, it is important to fill the seats right here, to bring in student interests on central topics. The transparency principle applies here, too.
